Salvation Baptist Church

The Salvation Baptist Church project includes constructing a new 92,000 square foot church and school, a parking lot with 546 parking stalls, 2,000 lineal feet of frontage improvements along two streets, water and sewer main extensions, and a stormwater management system with a combined wetpool and detention system. The 19-acre project site is located in Milton, WA.

The project site contained two wetlands, a stream, and high groundwater levels. Ethos Civil worked closely with the project geotechnical engineer, biologist, and landscape architect to develop a design that minimized the impact of high groundwater and avoided the critical areas. Ethos Civil also collaborated with an earthwork takeoff consultant and adjusted the proposed building elevation to closely balance the earthwork on the project site. The design avoided and protected environmentally sensitive areas, protected the new facility from water intrusion and balanced grading design which reduced costs by minimizing the need for import and export of soil.
